the insurance only claimed it totaled because the airbags when off. the guy who came over to estimate the damage said that the car is very fixable. It's just that they have on paper for the airbags to cost over $1000 a pop. so with that in mind plus body damage (which was just the front right side and door) it would cost about $8,000. i went to get an estimate from a body shop and they said nothing major at all. im buying all the parts myself so all they are doing is labor work. i got a high estimate of $2500 (if my radiator support was bent or broken which it is) and a low estimate of $1000 just to remove and replace the fender, bumper, hood and fix the driver side wheel area. so i figured this is cheaper than going out and looking for another 2000/2001 integra. plus i know forsure my integra wasn't tampered with because im the original owner.
