Taking out the back interior is a pain, you have to take out the backseats and then the whole big plastic thing is just held in place by a bunch of screws and those stupid plastic expander screws.
I'd say the easier way would be to just disconnect the wire from your deck.
And that antenna grind is fairly normal, i know it happened 24/7 with my old integra, and now my motor for the antenna is broken and I never bothered to fix it.
