Welps, on my way back to work from a run to town, pay bills, etc, my CEL came on....

So I check some stuff out, I was low on oil, im about 2k over due to not enough extra cash to flush her out, I run to the store and pick up a cpl quarts, added one, let it sit for bout half hour then checked the dipstick. It was 3/4 of the way to the 2nd hole on the dipstick, so I added bout 1/2 of the second quart, started her and let her idle for the length of a cig, then sit till my next cig break, checked the oil again, did same, idle for cig.

Car seems to be running fine, but my main question is, do I gotta go to the dealership to clear the CEL out? its hella ugly light and im pretty sure the only rsn it came on was cause of the amount of oil in the car.
