Yeah, lexan is crap. Started bubbling on me only 2 months after having replaced the glass.
After my snow bank incident and getting new fogs, I ran out and found a clear bra installer that has some 40mil plastic I could cover the glass with. Installed in Jan, they haven't chipped or broken yet, and after five months of solid use, the plastic just started to burn and change color. I haven't had the time to swap the old plastic out with the new yet.
