Yea I understand and agree with you, but if Acura really want to expand the model lineup and trims to gain tier 1 luxury...they need to have cars to cover both ends..from entry fuel efficient level to ultra luxury big huge car. Acura has the best entry level and fuel efficient part covered pretty well (probably the best one out there), the only thing that is making them weak compare to other luxury car is not having a big luxury trim car.

They will never gain the tier 1 status unless they change RL..that is the key.....RL need to be bigger with bigger engine option, the gas price has nothing to do with it cuz RL is not meant for regular ppl like us, it needs to be ultra luxury like BMW 7-series for the rich. Like for ppl making $200K+ a year. Then once the rich ppl actually buy them, it is the sign that Acura has gaining tier 1 like BMW. Right now, I just don't see any rich ppl buying RL instead r just regular ppl using RL..which is not suppose to be that way for a luxury Brandname flagship car. That is my opinion.

I do love Acura, I m not a hater, I m just not so please that Acura is not making their flagship car the way a true luxury car brand should be. Which will only hinder them to gain top tier among other luxury cars in the long run.

Example, why do I see so much more brand new Lexus LS and BMW 7-series on the road compare to RL even the crazy gas price? We all know that LS and 7-series got v8 engine that drink gas like water. Right?
