Yeah really, it definitely depends on the condition and upkeep of the motor, if you were going to do a stock rebuild on it as soon as you pick it up then I would say easily more than twice the current life of the motor as long as you keep the maintenance up on it. Given that it has significant body damage I would say the previous owner(s) didn't take great care of it and so probably not too awful long. Though you'd be surprised with how much a honda engine can take before calling it quits.

Yeah, sorry about the lack of details. I just picked it up last night and I don't know much about cars, and he doesn't know the history of the car either. So maybe the better question I should ask is, what should I look for as indicators as to the condition of the vehicle? Are there some tests I could do myself, or that I should go and get done on the car? Thanks again for the answers.
