The Solar powered a/c wouldnt be set up as a constant source... not the plan yet anyway.

Its more for when the car is turned off sitting in the parking lot i can set up a switch that would run the blower motor. I'm not all that familiar with Solar set ups, but i know the basics and I need to figure out if i should use a big battery or if i would even need a battery at all at first.

If it did run the whole a/c set up it would run a motor that would turn the compressor. I dont know how strong that would have to be though. It could go in the place of the Windsheild washer water supply. It would also have to run the blower motor for the fan.

Compressor motor? 2 HP HOME/HOBBYIST ELECTRIC MOTORS
and the A/c Blower motor is 12V.

Thats a ways down the line though.
I needa put some work into the body first. dents dings and then paint. If you cant tell, the front bumper will probably have to be replaced, unless i can straighten it out engough to fiberglass it back.

I really need to know about the idle problem though.
