Ok, as some of you may know. I recently received a USA Spec PA11 HON2y Aux/Ipod adapter. I attempted to follow the semi-tutorial posted in the USA Spec thread
here.
However, it appears that the harness everyone else is seeming to find, is nowhere to be found in my setup. I am assuming that it is directly behind the radio.
Anyhow, and I was trying to figure out which connector to disconnect, I was messing around with the other connectors and removed one that I probably shouldn't have. This caused my entire stock radio to reset, and it's now asking me to input a code to re-activate it. I called the Acura dealer, and they said that I need the anti-theft code that came with the car. However, I am not the original owner, and I don't even have the manual or anything that should be with this car. So, in order for me to find the code, I have to pull my radio out anyway, and write down all the numbers off the back of the radio, then call the dealership back up and have them find my code for me.
So, first off, how do I pull the stock, no nav, radio out?
Secondly, where do I plug in this aux adapter cable?
Apparently this should have only been a "10 minute" mod, but it is turing into a huge project for me.
Here are some pictures of where I expected this harness/connector to be, but no luck in finding it:
