He got the illegal tint to almost match the factory tint. He has been doing okay for the last 5 yrs but told me last month Park Police pulled him over a few blocks away. Park Police can stop you in areas of the city patroled by them. He said the young park police officer was shocked when he open the window. My neighbor is over 65yrs old & had the young grand kids in the back waving at the Park Policeman. They gave him a warning about the tint.

LOL, thats crazy! Cops need to find better things to do. If I had to get 45% tint, I might as well not do it as its not much difference except for uv protection. But thats just me. FL says we arent supposed to do darker than 35% on front windows, but hardly anybody follows that law. Police dont really enforce it either. Even if I get pulled over with my 15%, I'll just roll all the windows down. Hopefully that works, but like I said my local police are really lax about it.
