First thing, has it been 3 years since the last time you had the brake fluid replaced? Acura has a 3 year interval for this (regardless of mileage).

If you are sure the fluid has been flushed, unscrew the cap and look in there. (#9 in the diagram) There is a plastic mesh screen inside. Should be absolutely clean.



Final action is to replace the cap. The float may have lost it's buoyancy. Acura caps are about $25 USD from the dealer.
