The filter needs to go on 3/4 of a turn once it touches the filter mounting point. You'll know that happens when it isn't as easy to "spin". Also, make sure you get a new crush washer for the oil drain bolt (important) from acura or honda (17mm if I remember correctly????) and I've heard you should change your drain bolt once every other change or so. I'm seeing the merits of that as I rounded my drain bolt off my last change.
