Yeah, Amex really has excellent customer service.
Here is my story:
A couple of years ago, I got a call at home from AMEX asking if I was in the Bronx a few of weeks ago and if I moved to NY. I said 'No' to both questions and I asked why.
Someone had made 3 $1000 cash withdrawal from an ATM machine within a 72 time frame in the Bronx and they had changed my mailing address so I wouldn't notice the charges.
They promptly credited me the $3000 charge, corrrected my address, canceled my card, issued a new card at the local AMEX office, which was only a few blocks from work the next day.
I stil wonder how the thief did everything.
