There are pros/cons to each on a street basis:
-Short Ram induction resonance creates a more direct charge when induction temps are equal.
-Short Ram with Heat Shield gives up little to CAI when there is no draw (i.e. off line and idle = draw)
-Negative to a short ram is increased induction temps during draw.
Therefore, if you drag = CAI & if you drive = Short Ram.
