30, I was 26 when I got my first one. That was a very scary experience, because I didn't have a clue what was happening to me. Genetics has a lot to do with it, but apparently it's fairly common for it to start happening to people even in there late 20s. I think my doctors exact words were "It's the price humans pay for being able to stand upright".
