what is oem and jdm?? - Acura Forum

im new 2 this whole forum thing so i just wanted 2 get to know tha lingo so what does jdm and oem actually mean when its referred 2 car parts????? thanks....

OEM =Stock parts
JDM are parts that came off cars from Japan, or make to look like parts from Japan.

Here a JDM front end integra, in Japan this is how the integra looks, well it depends on which year.

And here the US integra

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

In other words, stock parts.

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market

Basically these are parts that were made in Japan
