2013 RDX AWD Engine Issue

I've had my car since August. Drove awesome until November. Starting noticing a hesitation/vibration with the engine when trying to drive an maintain a speed. For example if i'm driving 30 mph and just try to keep at 30 by applying slight constant pressure on the gas pedal the engine will start to shake. Reminded me of when i needed a fuel pump on a previous car. Had the fuel pump tested and its fine. Since the issue i've also noticed my MPG has decreased. We would typically get 26-28 MPG on the highway now we're averaging 21-22 MPG highway. I've had in the dealership 3x and they say the vibration/hesitation is normal and how RDX drives. I've driver others when car is serviced and its fine. The Head Machanic said he can definetly tell their is an issue but they have no answer and Acura Corporate Engineers say thats just how they drive. I need help and suggestions?

A couple of suggestions....I'm not a mechanic but just offering hope.
1. I wonder what speed/load the VCM engages. Could be a bad sensor that engages the VCM?
2. Tranny. Again, a sensor might be interacting with the computer giving false load readings thus throwing the VCM into confusion.

Sounds like it could be related to the Variable Cylinder Management system as well.

Ours is also a 2013 AWD RDX. Our experience appears identical. The vibration is very, very noticeable at constant speeds of approx. 40 and 50 mph especially, other speeds at times too. Our experience with the dealer also seems identical. Our dealers assistance has also been the same. The Service Manager said news to her, no reported problems whereas the Service Advisor, post check-out a couple weeks ago (approx. 17,000 miles), advised this is seen regularly in most Acura's since 2004 (our other vehicle is a 2003 TL which we like), that it is a VCM issue and that the only solution he knows of is to speed up or down outside the problem speed ranges. Can this (chronic problem) be true? It seems hard to believe that Acura would have any clients buying a second time around. I joined this forum hoping for some insight and advice. Thanks.
