RDX Door Locks - Acura Forum

I just leased a new RDX w/o tech. Love the car on so many levels but I have incurred one annoyance. Let me give an example:

I was out with my girlfriend, we bought a bunch of stuff and put it in the trunk. We both get in the car and drive away. After about 10 seconds of driving the auto locks engage and all doors lock. Then when we get to our apartment and I turn the car off, only my door unlocks. She has to manually unlock her door and we both get out. I go to open the trunk and it is locked. I have to press the unlock button on my remote to open all doors.

How can I change the auto-lock function to unlock ALL the doors, not just the driver door when I turn the car off?

It is a programable option. Check your manual (around pg.133?).

I actually found it on the last page of the quick-start guide. Put the key in the on position, put the parking break on, shift into reverse, hold master un-lock down for 10 seconds.
