Stiff suspension

I just bought a 08 RDX, but feels its suspension is so stiff and the car is jiggling around all the time, both highway and local road. I found some comments that people said the car is designed to have stiffer suspension. How do I know whether my RDX is in the designed condition or just a defect?

Thanks for advice.

I test drove a new RDX while we were looking at MDXs and I noticed the suspension to be pretty stiff too. It felt kind of like a sports car stuck inside of a small SUV. It was fun to drive though. I'd say take it to the dealer and ask the same question you asked in your post.

The RDX does have a fairly firm suspension, but it shouldn't be absolutely jarring. Take a look at your tire pressures. If they're high, try taking some pressure out. That should help with suspension bump compliance.

mine is the same... what is tire pressure reported by TPMS on cold? I think my dealer overinflated mine.

On my ridgeline, the TPMS system doesn't activate until around 25 PSI.

Your Mood:
RDX's have a very stiff suspension. Definately check your tire pressures, but it will not change the ride quality much. They ride very stiff.
