Greddy or REmus ?

im plannin on getting an exhaust for my legend, first it was a remus since i see most people that have had them gave good feedbacks, but then i saw movies from Dv8's webpage, and he had a greddy (if not mistaken). and i got hooked onto the sound of that greddy, not sure if remus makes the same reving noise, but yeah it sounds powerful and mean =)

any hints or tips on which one i should geT ? is there differences between these 2 exhausts ?

Well, if you want a reserved grumble until you are on WOT then get the Remus. If you want some more noise than that get the Greddy. Make sure either one are the Legend specific system.
Later!

Also, the Greddy is only made for a coupe and from what I read, you would have to modify it a little to make it fit a sedan. It's also discontinued and quite hard to find.

CKOncepts,
Todays you lucky day, My greddy is for sale in the FS section. Muffler only.
There is really no difference in sound between a greddy and a remus rev 3 besides looks.
With any muffler you buy as long as its a 2.5 inlet the piping can be made up by a muffler shop, so those that say get a Legend specific, dont seem to understand that it really doesnt matter.

I actually have the remus now because of cops always harrassing me since the greddys big, but im going to get rid of it two, ive got something else up my sleve and it has to do with some newer greddys.

Oh the Greddy and Universal Remus Rev3 are similar in sound...but the Spec. remus is totally different. Heard a Uni remus on a car just a couple days ago...it's alot rougher and a little more noisey (aggressive?) than the spec remus i have on my Legend.

Yea sedans come with spoilers...but the OEM spoiler is extremely hard to find. you can get one from the "exlposion" kit (a copy of the Evolution Signature Series VIP kit) that spoiler i think is the only other spoiler that looks good on the legend.

but you can install any spoiler you want as long as it's the right width.

Stromung is a great option that has a smooth deep tone at low rpms, and really sounds great when you gun it. Its stainless steel and has an option for you to also buy the Bpipe, making it a catback 2.5" stainless exhaust. The pair of round tips with the Stromung name etched in them really set off the look!

I suggest Stromung for coupe or sedan and Remus as another sedan option. Greddy's single coffee can tip looks cheap and ricey IMHO.

Car 1: 1991 Legend Coupe L
Car 2: 1991 Legend Sedan
i found a GReddy SP catback exhaust system for the 91-915 coupes from some online performance store. and i emailed the guy to ask him the piping diameter. and he didnt answer in inches, he said it was "60mm". so i went to an online conversion thingy and it came up with something like "60 millimeter = 2.3622047 inch". will that work on my 91 coupe?

i know it says its meant to fit my car, but everyone always talks about 2.5" piping. will the 2.36" piping actually fit onto the catalytic converter fine? LMK, thanks!

The Greddy piping is either 2.25 or 2.5. The report of 2.36 is incorrect.

If the part is the correct one for a G2 legend, then it will fit.
