Factory Alarm

So i tried the method on this site http://www.acuravigorclub.com/Timely-Topics/Timely1202.htm with the cleaning of the "Door Lock Actuator Switch" but my car alarm goes off when i connect the battery.

and then i found this solution on this site http://en.allexperts.com/q/Car-Alarms-1513/Acura-Vigor.htm regarding splicing the green/black wire left of the fuse box on the harness and grounding it.

still my car alarm goes off when i reconnect the battery i think the last option is to take this to a car alarm place near me in los angeles maybe the people at california tint will know what is wrong.

Not to knock the place, but I highly doubt that a tint place would be able to figure out what's wrong iwth your alarm, if the pro's at acura can't and 16 year owners of this type of car can't either. Drop by acuravigorclub.com and ask the folks there. The door lock actuator like the other fella mentioned is the main problem, cleaning the contacts sometimes fixes the problem. Problem is that your car is in the "armed" state when you connect the battery. Most times, aftermarket alarm systems would do that. You may have to try connecting the battery and try using your key on both driver side, and passenger side to try to dis-arm the alarm.
