Fog light replacement trouble
I'm trying to replace my fog light bulbs and cannot remove the unit. Removed the grill and the 3 screws holding the fog light housing per the manual and I can't get the housing out to replace the bulb. It's hitting on the bumper!
I replaced all my front bulbs with PIAA xtreme white bulbs and can't for the life of me get the stupid fog lamp out to replace with a PIAA bulb .Looks good with the xtreme white PIAA bulbs for the low headlight, turn and side bulbs otherwise! Brian ![]() |

Do you have the Factory Service Manual? If not, try visiting the acuravigorclub.com website to download one. It'll tell you exactly how to remove the socket that holds the bulb. I don't believe you need to remove the entire lamp fixture to replace the bulb inside.
BTW, PIAA's look great, but they are expensive, and they burn out. I would highly recommend HID after your set burns out. It comes out to be about the same price. Shawn |

Shawn, thank you for the info. Yes I have the service manual and the procedure looks very basic; just like replacing a headlight bulb with a couple of screws to remove. Can't get the foglight housing out though. Must be missing something basic there.
Yeah the PIAA's look good and light up more of the road which I really do like the brighter beam. Brian |

You have to remove the bumper. I replaced my headlights with the jdm version and had to do that. the bumper comes off pretty easy but thats when I found out my bumper mounts were bent so I had a hard time putting it back on.
