Might be the fuel injector seals. I had the same problem, replaced the seals, and now no gas smell. With the car running, check the area around the fuel injectors and see if any fuel is leaking out. FYI, if you need to replace one seal, you'll need to replace them all. Once you move the fuel rail from the injectors with the old seals, the old seals will never seat properly again and you may end up with more leaks like I did. Good luck.

very tru check all the lines, filler neck gas tank, fuel pump gasket. its just a process of elimination

Yeah, My Integra had the same problem this weeked and it turned out to be the fuel injector seals i took it off to clean all the carbon build up (Which by the way was ALOT) and messed up the seal when i put it back on. so i got up to start my car early monday to let it warm up and i smelled a really strong gas smell, went out to the garage and the floor was FULL of gas. -_- i was pissed.
