Headliner Speakers

I am not getting any sound out of my headliner speakers or dash tweeters.

Anyone upgraded their headliner speakers or dash tweeters?

Your Mood:
when you change out your stock radio, your headliner tweeters dont work. your dash should still work, you prob just don't notice it. there should be a blue plug that goes into your stock radio..thats the headliner tweeter plug.

you can wire it up somehow..? i would just get aftermarket tweeters and mount them somewhere and use those instead of the cheap stock ones.

Not sure exactly what's going to those tweets, but they're not wired in the way you might expect.

On GSs with DSP, the overhead tweets carry the sounds which create the "ambience," so there's a slight delay. On LSs, there's a separate amplifier for those tweets -- mounted on the rear of the head unit.
