HELP! Vigor cranks over but won't stay running

Friday, we had near zero temps so I go warm up the Vigor. It cranks right up as usual but dies immediately. I try again and it dies again. I keep my foot on gas pedal which sends rush of fuel through and it stays running. Everything seemed okay but yesterday and today, it will not stay running.

Any suggestions?

Heet.

Sounds like some icing in the fuel.

HELP! Vigor cranks over but won't stay running

According to www.acuravigorclub.com

"To determine whether these symptoms are caused by a faulty ignition switch, hold the key between the II and III-positions...as soon as you release the key from the III-position, the engine will die"

This described my symptoms perfectly so
I will try the ignition switch.

How did you make out? Did you repair the switch or replace it?
