I have a 1993 Acura Vigor that drives fine, but the engine misfires intermittently while in idle and dies. I had the spark plugs and plug wires replaced. But the problem persists.
Do you have any suggestions on what to check or replace?

Is there a chance that one of the wires were crossed in other words placed on the wrong cylinder, or when installing the new plug that dirt got onto the electrode? I would also check to see that the wired are seating properly and if all of these are fine then I would go on to check the distributor cap and rotor for indication of wear.
