A little more detail please, the Vig 2.5 is a very stout forgiving engine.

How in the heck did you manage to break a Vigor engine?

Those things are bulletproof! I know a guy who has over 350K miles on his!

pretty unlikely the entire engine is toast.... check the problem out and let us know... it may be something fairly affordable and simple to fix.... does the engine turn over?
did it seize totally?

did it smoke? what are the symptooms

and congrats on your vigor.... i know u must have a bad tatse already but it is an exceptional vehicle

When i i pulled over on the hwy the vig just turned off completly and i tried to start it and it wouldnt turn over, a weird thing that happend was when i was trying to start it the key wouldnt go back and i started to freak out and the key came out and the car was still trying to turn over. that scared me. but back to your questions it didnt smoke at all just wouldnt turn over. Im getting a newer engine put in. the new engine has 103k on it which is pretty good i could of gotten an engine with 30k but my uncle already told the mechanic to start working on the car, oh well. It had major valve damage from what the mechanic said. I love the car, i was excited about it when i first heard i was getting it.

oh theres no giving up on that car for me. when i saw it i fell in love with it. I have many plans for it. Im going to put my headunit, my subs, push button start, maybe turbo, window tint, rims. the car will be lookin nice by the time im done with it. Boosting it would be very last. too much money for that
