Need help Vigor smokes at startup idles wierd for 30 secs then runs fine.

Hey everybody Im new on here and am going to look at a 1992 vigor 5 spd with 150k miles the owner says the car does this.



smokes & idles low for 40seconds then the check engine light comes on & it stops smoking & idles fine

Is this an easy fix? Also what are the common weakspots for these cars I would think an acura inline 5 would run forever right?

Your car is probably burning oil that is leaking from a bad O ring or gasket in the engine. This is a very expensive thing to fix because you will have to dismantle the entire engine to replace a $2 part.
