how much would a new alternator cost to buy and get installed...ball parking it.

Not many of the Vigor members replace alternators with new. They can be had for used at around $60. Installation of the alternator is pretty straight forward. I don't expect more than 1 hr for a mechanic to complete the job. So you'll be looking at $100-150 for the job and parts combined. If the belt needs replacing, that's a different story.

shit eh thanks, my buddy's broke and he paid 600$ at some random garage tho... he has a mazda percidia tho
