2010 Acura NSX Is Real After All
![]() Even though we thought the Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept from the 2007 Detroit Auto Show was a bit of a stinker when it came to telegraphing the 2010 Acura NSX, it looks like the shape has finally evolved into the real deal. That's right, here is the first look we've gotten at the front-engined successor to the mid-engined supercar. Clad in heavy camo, the scion of the NSX is rumored to be sporting a V10 under that long bonnet, and we wouldn't be surprised to hear of some magical transmission trickery either. We also wouldn't be surprised if they pulled a fast one and released it as a 2009 model, considering how far along this one seems. But all of this has us a bit... confused. Sorry man, that was your first post and I thought it might be spam so I deleted it, then I saw it posted here
![]() to AW! I'm holding judgement until I see final production, but so far I prefer the old body style.

Yes, the old body style had something unique and intriguing about it. It was clearly a one of a kind approach to styling.
The lines that I can see under the camo look good, though. But......, here's to hoping that god awful Acura grill gets deleted from all models and soon!! ![]()

The old style was definitely iconic, and defined the NSX then.
My love for this one is on the style alone however, and not colored by the thought that it's an NSX. I think because of this, the car will be definitely polarizing. You'll hate it, because it doesn't look like an NSX should, or you'll love it seperately on its own merit. Maybe both! ![]() |

The old NSX in my opinion looked like an exotic car. It wasn't out of place parked next to a Ferrari.
By the looks of this new one it will be more at home next to say a BMW 6 series (or any other standard coupe layout). That disappoints me, though with honda engineering and a v10, it should be quite the performer.
