Unreal Tournament is a fantastic game. Anyone else have fond memories of hours wasted fragging roommates w/a flak gun? I remembered it in my pile of old software & loaded it on my work laptop for when I'm out & about w/nothing to do.

The Unreal engine should be the standard game engine. Runs solid even on crappy PCs.

I wonder if UT2k4 would run on this bish. I'd have to burn 6 discs just to try it out tho...

UT2k4 was the best FPS game ever. Whoever thinks it's halo never played the unreal one.

Plasma rifle + me = ownage.

I spent a lot of time that I was supposed to be in class during high school playing that game...ah, memories.

UT2004 looked sick, but I barely played it before I went to college and then I didn't play games much, so I never got into it. I take it it was good?

I was never a big UT fan. I always liked the realistic FPS games more than the SciFi ones.

Who knows how many sleepless nights I've spent playing the N64 Perfect Dark. That game was one of the better ones on N64, it was fun as hell. Especially with the bots and all...

Call me sick, but I definitely prefer to shoot humans in my video games, not monsters/demons/wizards/etc.

Word. Not that I'm against shooting aliens or anything. I'll kill whatever. But I've always preferred Call of Duty or Delta Force to UT or Doom and any of that shit.

The bots I play against are all humans...but it is a sci-fi setting obviously.

The beautiful thing was that the game had an excellent modding community where you could find almost any type of map to suit your preference. I remember playing matches in a giant bedroom/kitchen.
