iPhone 3G

Disappointing. Even for only $200 I really don't see a big need to move to 3G.

Well, everyone acts like being on AT&Ts EDGE system sucks. But, from what I read, the phone has poor sails in Europe because it can't "do 3G".

Still, better that AT&T is talking contract prices now. Before, Apple locked the price at retail.

What I am really waiting for is true exchange integration. That's coming next month for free.

Well, I know what Exchange is, , it was the lack of an upper-case E that threw me. Wondered if it was something else.

Otherwise, still not sure what you mean. Lot of people in our office have phones (Treo's) provided to them and they pull their email off the Exchange server in HQ. (not sure if it doesn't require some "back office" installs).

Yeah but not push email, contacts and calendar sync. I am also hoping that true Exchange support means I can see notes in the contacts as well. I kinda need that for my business.

Not sure what all they can see. I think, though, all the "other" stuff is sync'd with a wire at their PC. I would imagine they can see the Global Address List (GAL) but probably because a copy is downloaded for them. Not sure, also, what all they can see on an address property look.

For complete Exchange integration with the blackberry there is backside software you have to install... blackberry enterprise server. It's quite costly as well. Luckily if you're a single user you don't need anything and it can pull email from anywhere (as mine does). I sync it with Outlook through usb port every night that also charges it and backs it up

I know you can sync with the wire. I need to be able to sync my contacts and especially my calendar items on the go during the day.

I can probably always use Exchange web outlook but it's not very easy to get to.

Yeah, not a fan of that, either. And I don't think it generates read receipts.
