Possibly, some of the best off-road racing around. Greaat damage model. Last version was 720p...but can't find out if this one has gone higher. Some of the jumps and stuff are a bit crazy but the driving physics are pretty darn good.

The music was hard-hitting (almost "scream" music) last time and the videos seem to indicate more good stuff to come.

And, this version has splitscreen for up to 4 players.

Now Michelle and I can race each other!

Have you tried Dirt (might be xbox only)? Another off road racing game, played the demo for that it seemed pretty good.

Yeah, it's both. I tried the demo and it didn't "feel" right for some reason. Kind of like that other game you checked out a while back...where it seemed as if the car's pivot point was funny. Also, the cars just seemed slippery as hell on the tracks.

In Motorstorm, it's more like "freestyle" off road racing as there really is not set course. A "track" will have LOTS of ways to get to the finish line and you sometimes need to avoid clusters of vehicles and go around them. Sometimes, you get shoved a certain way. It's like racing on a track with free roam.

And speaking of that, Motorstorm 2 HAS free roam in it.

Sounds fun... what kind of vehicles can you drive? (dirtbikes, 4 wheelers, etc?)

Yeah, the game was Grid, and I believe it's made by the same people who made Dirt.

8 Classes (let's see if I can remember): bike, ATV, buggy, mud buggy, rally car, rally truck, big rig (LOL), and now monster truck.
