Yeah I'd imagine you could...... First and foremost when you enter a new area make sure you find a map.... It will show what areas you have been to and have not and what is blocked off or if you need to find a key......All silent hill games are filled with freaky puzzles that you must complete in order to progress thoughout the game... which is nice..... whether it be feeding the right pills in the mouth of a doll with razorblades and slit wrists or or finding clues to turn clock hands to the right time to open up a passage behind something... I like games that make you think.... Like I've said before..... my wife can't watch me play anymore b/c it gives her nightmares.... IMO Konami is like the Steven King of horror games...... I wasn't really into role playing or action adventure games but a friend of mine got me into it and I am more than confident to say that if anyone enjoys scary movies I would highly doubt you wouldn't like the game.... sure it has its irritating camera angles at times but its easily overlooked.

I've never gotten into Silent Hill games before...you guys will have to let me know if it's any good.

I'm going to pick it up as soon as I get outta work today.....I can't wait...... Hopefully we'll have a thunderstorm or something tonight.... for more intensive gameplay

If you play any of them.... I'd play SH 2...Restless Dreams If I'm not mistaken...for the original xbox.. It's worth a couple bucks.... I wouldn't be surprised it the series becomes a collector's item. Like other people have said the only game that comes close to it is Fatal Frame.
