Let's get this forum up and running. Maybe the mods and the senior staff should check in and let the members know who we are.

I'll start.

I'm Dave, and am a moderator for the lounge. I also am one of the super mods that does his best to keep this site clean of spam and junk posts.

I am a teacher by trade, and drive a 1st Gen 3.2 TL.

Acura World is currently my biggest hobby during my down time. This is one of the most friendly, helpful, community oriented car forums on the net, and we all take a great deal of pride what this site has to offer.

I work in sales, selling steel. I live in Chicago. I drive a 2006 Vivid Blue Pearl RSX Type S. It's the second RSX I've owned and I'm pretty familiar with them.

Hobbies include watching the Cubs and Bears, playing beach volleyball, binge drinking, video games and of course Acuraworld.

I'm Matt, and I'm a Pisces. I like long walks on the beach, mixed doubles figure skating, and advanced trig problems. I wear a size 13 shoe and I cannot blow a bubble with bubble gum. Ray Charles was, is, and always will be The Man, and Top Gear was, is, and always will be the best car show on television. You cannot lick your own elbow, and I once stuck a Lego up my nose on a dare.

And after all that, I still drive an '02 TL-S as a daily driver (and the wife drives an '05 MDX--how is that fair?). Hence, I'm a moderator for the 2nd gen TL forum, the MDX forum, and oh yeah, I occasionally dip into the lounge (mod there as well).

I think I am still a mod of the RL section here... but I hardly have anything to do there... either the peeps there manage themselves well or the other AW mods are stepping in to help me out.

I currently own a 2000 RL and, long story short, I had a 2005 RL for about a month before selling it to a relative. I've also had a 1st gen Legend... '89 sedan that I had since new till we donated it in great condition in 2002... great car. I really wanted a 2nd gen Legend (type II 6-speed to be exact) and I still do, but that never happend... oh well.

also had a 2nd gen Integra.

I'm currently on the fence about getting a current gen MDX, but I can't really afford it (I almost got a Pacifica... eek). I'm waiting for the economy to settle down a little... and I'm fickle.

I might still be able to justify being the RL mod cause my RL still runs fantastic. gas mileage aint so great, but better than the Nissan Quest (other car). best part is that it's been paid for for a while so it's like driving a free car... well maybe not exactly... but without a car note, the almost twice weekly $80 tank fill ups (premium is near $5/gal around here) don't seem so bad.

I'm still self-unemployed (almost 6 years without a steady paycheck so far... yay!)... but still occasionally too busy to get on the internet...

I'm James, and I'm the only "foreigner" in the mod group, from north of the 49th parallel.

I'm the mod for the EL/CSX group, although you wouldn't know it existed due to the lack of traffic in there. The EL (1996-2005) and CSX (2006-present) are Canadian-only vehicles (which explains why a Canadian is a mod for this group), based off of the Honda Civic.

I owned a 2001 EL, and traded it in in early 2006 for a 2006 TSX. So your EL mod doesn't even drive an EL anymore.

My presence here has been sporadic, as I have been battling kidney failure and have been on dialysis for the last 4 years. I went through several rough patches, but have been more stable, so I've been better at being online here lately. Even though I need a machine to provide life support, I continue to work full time in packaging and printing. I am on the waiting list for a kidney transplant, which takes about 8 years...so about 4 more years to wait.

Other than my sometimes overwhelming health problems, I enjoy baseball, cars (duh!), eating out, traveling (not so much now since I can't take my dialysis machine with me), and still enjoying the freedom (whatever my health doesn't limit me to) of being a single guy who spends a lot of time with friends, and always ends up to be the only guy in a group of women.

Hi. I'm Dean, one of the mods for the RSX section. I currently drive a 2006 Honda Ridgeline and I have a 2002 Acura RSX modified for Unlimited FWD Time Attack class. I work as an administrative assistant for JVT Racing (basically I do a little bit of everything here). I'm also the President of Honsport, a high end suspension and tuning company. As far as hobbies go, I like racing, watching Top Gear, cooking, and playing with my dogs.
