i got the hu, amp, sub as a christmas present (go figure, im gettin all the installation components NOW..pfft.. im a poor kid jus outta college), so i dunno how much it was.. plus, my pops knows a guy who works for pioneer, which explains why everything is pioneer, and im sure he got an employee discount..

post some pics when you get the HU installed. i told the guy that installed mine to try to put it in the lower din but he said he couldn't. i'm thinking about trying to change it myself

O RLY? ..well ill hav to see about that when the kit comes in.. if it really doesnt, then o well, but it should cuz the scosche is a double din/single din-pocket,, so it should be interchangeable, its more of a preference for me at this point, if i cant put it in the lower din, then so be it..

trust me, ill be snappin pics durin the install, doin evrythin myself, the way it should be done..

yeah i don't know why he couldn't do it. i'm a little skeptical, but i know the guy personally and he didn't charge me for anything, even bypassed the ebrake safety feature. i don't know why he couldn't put it in the lower din. oh well
