I have a cable (~6 feet) bought long time ago from an NSX owner for my legend thinking that it would work since it's Acura, but it didn't work.
anyone knows the length of OEM CD Changer cable? thanks ps. maybe this belongs to "Shop Talk - Audio/Visual section"? |

I too do not know the length of the NSX DIN changer cable, but what do you mean when you say it did not work? The pin configuration between the Legend and Acura DIN cable are the same so you should have at least gotten sound out of it. Which Legend year do you have? All G2 Legends (91-95) are prewired for a CD changer. You have to find the DIN cable under the pocket area in the trunk on the drivers side. Anyway, any 8 pin DIN extention cable will work.
PS. if you are trying to hook up an Alpine CD changer then you need to do a 2 pin wire swap or use an Alpine to Honda/Acura adaptor to make the Alpine changer sound correct with a Honda/Acura headunit. |

Sell the cable in ebay. You probably wont get much though. By the way, I'm pretty sure that is an Alpine cable. Really no difference other than the Honda/Acura cables have a U shap pin configuration while the Alpine is a circle. Thanks for the offer but I have like 2-3 set of those laying around
