yeah...i can't agree more with the respect. I know this car is respected in Japan. Just not here. C'mon...over on A-TL people are clowning cuz some of the members wanted to get H badges for our TL's....I mean seriously....afterall..our cars ARE Hondas.

It's because of the price tags and the great performance from cheaper competitors like skylines, rx7's, and Supra's. Also, because people think it's too much wannabe Ferrari. I think it's a great car all it's own. It's a mix of japanese performance with italian flare. Have you heard a NSX in vtech? Sounds almost italian. Oh well it'll gain respect with the rumored v-8...

If anyone wants to know more about the evolution of the NSX-R, you can get a video from ZIG ZAG ASIA. It's a Japanese version of Motor Trend called Best Motoring. They take the cars out on the track and run them against each other. Sky's, RX's, Ferrari's, Integra's, Civic's you name it. There are three volumes I think. Look for the link to Best Motoring and get the video that has all the Acura's on the cover. It's a killer video for the enthusiast to watch. One of the drivers runs an S2000 in Germany, (Can't spell the track name, it's only one of the most famous tracks in the world). And puts it through the paces. This guy has BIG HAIRY BALLS. He's in the car without a helmet, or gloves with the top down driving the shit out of the S2k on the track. It's a must see.

Yep...Watch many Best Motoring videos. I love it. I personally own the one where they have a few modified NSX's race at the track. Incredible i tell ya.

The thing I love about them is that they really put the cars through the paces. It's almost like I'm on the track again. There's no rush like taking an NSX with a blower out onto a track and seeing what you and the car are made of! I'm hooked. I'm eventually gonna get an Integra to gut and modify to run on the track. Can't wait.
