personally...i don't like how Larry (NSX Modified owner, and the mastermind behind that turbo) did the plumbing work! it looks like it's snaking all over the place! Here is the 411 on that turbo system

The turbo runs 6lbs of boost and puts out 365 rear wheel HP. He has the dyno sheet.
He feels this as high as you can go while maintaining reliability. They ran it at 9lbs of boost and he said it felt unsafe for the stock motor.

however. they already have a built NSX motor running 14.5lbs of boost and putting out 565 rear wheel HP with a water to air intercooler. Reinforced w/ some kind of metal sleeves (???), different compression (9:1), rods, etc...

Larry Garcia is a VERY talented guy. I have talked to him on a couple of occasions. (e-mail). That looks very impressive. The HP numbers are not supprising at all.
Anytime you put more than 475+ hp out of a stock NSX motor, you have to change the head bolts. They will streatch if you don't and lift the heads off of the block. Also, more than 9 lbs of boost calls for 9.5 or lower compression pistons. If you try and run stock pistons with more boost, you will be looking at it from the cab of a tow truck. There are only a couple great NSX techs on the west coast. Mark Basch and Larry Garcia to be specific. I'm working on putting an NSX shop on the east coast. Keep your fingers crossed.
