New NSX Engine Cost
I was at my local Acura delaer picking up parts for my 1997 NSX and my 2004 TL and visiting with the parts manager. They had a 1991 NSX there that might need a new engine, so the parts manager looked up the price.
A short block (no heads) cost $23,000. The heads are $5000 for the pair. So for $28,000 you get an engine with heads but no fuel injection. He also checked availability and found that the new Chino, CA warehouse had three engines in stock. I guess that's just a reminder to take care of your engine. With installation costs, you would spend more than most other cars cost. - Russ in Santa Barbara |

Seriously though, used C30A NSX engines seem to be on the used market for about $5-$7K. |
