Pics from August car show - Acura Forum

Here are the pics from this past car show. I took everyone's advice and painted the lip black. I think it came out pretty good. I couldn't really get a good angle for the pictures since the cars were parked so close to each other, but you get the idea. I'll take better pics later.

I'll see if I can get some pics that are not in doors. I should be able to get better angles. Unfortunately I didn't place this time around. I think mine and my friend's NSX's were put in the Acura class where they only give first place in each catetgory. We had no chance. There was an "Exotic" class that we thought we would be put in but the classifications was not clear. At the awards show they presented that class as "Exotic VIP" and "Exotic Luxury".

I will never get tired of looking at your NSX. Are you rolling on 18-18's or 18-19's?

It looks like the family and I will be in Hawaii for Christmas again. We arrive on the 20th and depart on the 28th. I tried to schedule around HIN, but it is scheduled to early in December.

So, lets hook up for some Loco Moco

, better yet lets do some sushi or dim sum.

Hi Mike,

I'm running 18/19. Don't worry about HIN. I'm not doing that show anyway. Personally, as a show competitor I don't like HIN because their set up sucks. It really is just a show to look at half naked women under dark lights like a night club. Sure, that is fun, but as a car show competitor that puts all that time into detailing only to barely be able to see the cars it is not worth it too me. HID (Hot Import Daz) is the same production but a much better show IMHO. Even the set up is better. HIN the line you up in rolls. HID is more like the pictures above where you can position the cars different ways.

Looks great. Love the black and white color scheme. Glad you kept the lip black...good color balance with the rear spoiler and the top of the car.
