Streetcar Showoff in Hawaii
Here are some pics from this past weekends show. This was the big one and runs from Friday to Sunday. I put two of my cars in. The NSX and my wifes RX330. The RX330 has only mild exterior modificatons with a slight drop and rims, but it has a full Alpine A/V system in it with PS2 and the works. I took home 3rrd Place in the Acura division. Another local NSX Prime member (kkt) took 2nd with his NSX in the Acura division, and my fellow club member took home 1st with his TL. We had 14 cars from my car club and we took home 4 trophies. My 3rd, another 3rd in the Euro class, 1st in Acura and 1st in VIP car. For my fellow NSX guys that are wondering what happened to my black SSR SP1 rims? As mentioned earlier I had a problem with the fitment in the rear so until SSR starts shipping again I had nothing. I had to scramble at get these replacements. It turned out well as it once again gives the car a totally different look. For those that think these rims look familir yes, they were Seth's from Scince of Speed Bronze Advan Model 5's.
Please don't mind the funky looking photos. I was shooting in manual mode and I found out my Canon lens has a problem and doesn't focus on the left side. Notice many of the shots are blurry on the left? I later swapped the lens and it is fine so the lens is the problem. Also, on many of the pics I had the wrong settings and also for some reason was shooting 1 full stop under exposed. I had to try and fix a lot of that mistakes in photoshop.   3rd Place Acura  1st Place Acura   3rd Place Euro  1st Place VIP Class  My wifes RX330              |

On the surface the car looks like any other TL, but the attention to detail is increadible. I also didn't get good pics of the full A/V system in his car so when you see it and his totol show presentation and details you'd see why he wins a lot of 1st places. The Cefiro (Infiniti I30) also has won about 4 1st places plus a few 2nds. This car needs to be seen to appreciate. It has a full A/V system molded body kit, supercharger and such. OUr club is VIP style inspired. We don't all have the true VIP chassis or go all out crazy VIP style either, but we like the VIp style and local laws and streets limit us to being more on the practical side of the VIP style. What we try and do is take a lot of what we like and what is practical with the VIP style and apply that to our cars as best as we can and as best that is practical since most of our cars are daily drivers  |

 so depressed now... must win large sums of money... need to mod cars... ugh |
