05-06 rsx rear end...
 hey guys whats up! havent been on for a while, how is everyone doin? ok, so i have a question does anyone know if i can swap the ass-end of my 02 RSX for one off of an 05-06? i really like the newer body styling in the rear but i prefer the 02 front end. the bumper is going to be aftermarket anyways or at least with some sort of ground effects( anything i do will be subtle to the max of course i am trying very hard to avoid rice. what i really want are the taillights. anyone with feedback hit me up. and please dont hesitate to tell me if im making a mistake. its just an idea right now and i am way open to suggestions and critique.

same thing on the other thread.
if you want the 05-06 rear bumper for your 02, you might need to replace your taillights. since, the bottom of the 02-04 taillights ain't straight. it has the curves on the bottom. see pic below. 02-04  05-06

It is possible, but I don't think it's as easy as just getting the bumper and tail lights from the 05-06... probably will need a little fabrication. Your best bet would be to find someone with an 05-06 who would be willing to spend a day taking their rear bumper/tail lights off and seeing if they will fit on yours before you buy anything.
