Acura RSX 2nd deadliest car 01-04

I just saw this article on MSN and thought you all might be interested.

A Consumer Reports article based on data from the IIHS ranked vehicles based on the number of deaths in 200 different vehicles that occurred in auto accidents of cars from the 01-04 model years. They ranked it in terms of deaths per million registered vehicles of that model. The only vehicle with a higher death rate than the Acura RSX's falling into those model year ranges was the 2-door 2wd Chevy Blazer.

Lowest rates of driver death
Fewer than 20 driver deaths per million registered vehicle years for 2001-2004 model year.

holy hell! Who would have thought, considering it took me more than 2 months to find the perfect rsx that wasn't wrecked or plowed through a wall. Damn those idiots, I love my rsx.

i think it's funny that the G35 is on the least deadliest list, while the 350z is on the most deadliest list. Besides a backseat, they are pretty damned close to the same car. (The G is a lot more comfy though.) Just goes to show you how demographics can skew statistics.

The insurance on the G is really high too, much higher than what i have on the RSX (full coverage, blah blah)
