Ian, it's an Alpine Headunit over an Alpine 5.1 EQ. Keeps the tunes sounding nice and sweet. The EQ is was setup using a mic for absolute "flat" and time correcting each speaker individually to the drivers head. That's flat setting is preset 1 - and I have an additional 5 one-touch settings that I have setup for different types of music.

Sounds like our Onkyo receiver in the bedroom...some 30' cord/mic thing that gets moved to places and then the amp does all the balancing for best sound.

Nice to be able to set that up for when there's just the driver in the car!

That is awesome John. I've never seen that setup done before. Did you do all the wiring yourself?

Oh, hell no!

Somewhere around last March / April (2007) you'll find a thread where the installers had completely disassembled the interior to install the stereo, door speakers, replace the dash tweeters, the alarm / remote start system, the bluetooth handsfree kit, heated seat kit, the center console, soundproofing and some other stuff. Car interior was completely removed for about 5 days. Unfortunately I had to work, so the pictures were spotty - but there is a thread!

A lot of $$$ but worth every $!

Kev is right - the interior work was about $10 K: Headlight and fog light projectors and HID add about another $2 K and add another K for small incidentals - so about $13K on top of the $22 K I paid when it was purchased.

Grand total $35K.

Nice ride. At least two other VBP Type S's in here. My wife's is a base VBP and another guy has one as well.

I like the high wing but around here, it's either like or almost hate. Bot my RSX and my wife's have the high wing.

Can't say I'm all into those wheels, though, but that why we're individuals ! Must be a cleaning nightmare! What the hell are those, 19's? (or 18's)
