AEM CAI DIY... kind of
Okay it's not a DIY... it's more of an installation diary
![]() Special thanks to Marc-Andre I did it with a friend... took about 5 hours for everything... we tried to put the washer bottle on the other side, but we were not able to put the bumper back on. I would possibly need a US washer fluid bottle, they're different from the Canadian ones. If someone wants to sell me is bottle (because he got a replacement bottle with is CAI) I would appreciate it. PM me ![]() Here's my "virgin" engine bay ![]() and the part I will need to put in it ![]() ![]() with the bumper removed ![]() the removal of the stock airbox left a big hole in the bay ![]() the car jacked with a wheel and the infamouse washer fluid bottle removed ![]() some of the parts I removed ![]() another shot of the bay ![]() here's the washer fluid tubing and wiring going to the other side of the car ![]() time for a lunch break, french fries, gravy and cheddar cheese curds... poutine, with a special touch... bacon peperroni and smoke meat... with a cold canadian beer ![]() the filter of the cold air intake where the washer fluid bottle was, notice the black tube goind to the other side of the car, with the washer tubing and wiring in it ![]() the metal plate where the washer fluid bottle will eventually go on the other side ![]() the intake tube connected to the intake manifold ![]() the tubing going done in the bay... notice the shift linkage near the tubing, we manage to move the tubing so the linkage will not grind it... ![]() to be continued...

Nice clear pics, Dave. Makes me have more respect for the install AND scares me away from doing it myself. Good job!

Wow, looking at (what looks to me) that mess of fries with gravy (?!?!) this early in the morning makes me feel sick, lol.
That shit looks complicated to me, I'd mess something up.
