Car 1: 89 Honda civic
Car 2: 98 Honda Civic
Car 3: Acura RSX Type S
any different between RSX 05 and 06?

Im new here and Imma bout to buy me a RSX type S next month. I wanna know are they any different between 06 and 05? If it the same then imma just go with the 05 cus is cheaper

Car 1: 2006 VBP RSX Type S
Car 2: 2005 NBP RSX Type S SOLD
The 06 will be exactly the same as the 05s. The only difference I know of is that SSM is no longer, it's being replaced with Alabaster Silver Metalic and the Magnesium Metalic now comes with the Ebony Interior, not the Titanium Interior.

Also, the numbers for the 06s will be less, 201 hp, due to use the SAE standard. It's still the K20Z1 engine, exactly the same as the 05s engine.

Cheaper probably, but it's has the same horsepower. The only reason it's listed differently is because of the test they used to do it.


SAE 2005 = 201
SAE 2006 = 201

Old standard 2005 = 210
Old standard 2006 = 210

It's the same exact car, besides those color options.

I would like to see the Satin Silver Metalic [SSM] side by side with the
Alabaster Silver Metalic. Is one slightly darker?

Fuck Kev, why did you have to go and say what the differences are!!!! Now I am SO PISSED OFF... I originally wanted the magneisum grey color... the only reason why I got silver is because the magnesium color came with that crappy titanium interior color !!! AND NOW ACURA OFFERS IT WITH EBONY INTERIOR!!! THAT'S SO FUCKING MESSED UP MAN!!! ACURA PEOPLE <---ME
