Changing the air filter
I wanted to know if anyone here has changed the air filter on the '05-'06 RSX? From what I can tell they make it more of a pain than some other cars I've done it for. Is there anything special I should be aware of or is it pretty straightforward?

it's pretty simple. just open up the box (3-5 screws/bolts) then tada! you have access to the filter. nothing to be worry about. it's pretty easy. i'd estimate 10minutes to replace the filter.

I'm more concerned about the two hoses that connect to it. I've read that other people have been having problems with the smaller hose in that they break it accidentally trying to disconnect it because it's easily broken.

ugh, i swear, i forgot how the stock box looks like.
correct me if i'm wrong, you CAI people you, to open up that box, you don't need to disconnect any hose. also, if you ever break it by accident, it's not that hard to replace. it's just clamped together. i've taken my box twice and put it back. i had no problems connecting/disconnecting it.

I had to disconnect the main hose in order to take the top off. I couldn't fit anything in there without taking the whole top out of the car. Just be gentle with the clip on the hose using pliers to pull it back.
It was easier then taking the bumper off, and the bumper was pretty easy.

its easy, get screws off, unplug big hose (has like a metal clip), take cover off and its right in there, then put it back together again. I think i used only screwdriver for whole operation.
