Are you asking how you reset the auto up/down for the driver's side window John?

I think there's a reset pattern that you have to press the button but I forget what it is... My driver's side window wouldn't do the auto up/down after I took it to the shop, but pressing the button in a pattern and it's good to go.

Yeah, that's what I was asking. Dean says there is no "reset" - just keep the window clean and the chaannel clear. I'll dig through the Acura Service Manual when I get home again.

I think he thought that your problem was that the window was getting stuck b/c it was dirty or something. But don't worry, I know what you're talking about

Let me know if you need me to help you look for the pressing pattern. I've done it before but I just forgot what it is.

What I did was to put the window all the way down and continue to hold the switch for 2 or 3 seconds - then put it back up and held the switch for 2 or 3 seconds. So far, so good. If you can find anything else - i owe you a beer or 6!

Thanks, Pip!

Oh, just for old times sake Some namesakes for you!
