fogs are common, but a lot of people end up replacing the glass with Lexan after it breaks. There's a DIY I can find if it comes to that.

Personally I think having HALO's on your foglights is a bit overdoing it.

No, because the glass is the cheapest thin shit material that Acura could find to use as fog lights. My dealers excuse when confronted: "Oh, well that's how [Michigan][insert local state here] roads are."

Yeah, lexan is crap. Started bubbling on me only 2 months after having replaced the glass.

After my snow bank incident and getting new fogs, I ran out and found a clear bra installer that has some 40mil plastic I could cover the glass with. Installed in Jan, they haven't chipped or broken yet, and after five months of solid use, the plastic just started to burn and change color. I haven't had the time to swap the old plastic out with the new yet.

when mine broke, i saw huge chucks of rocks inside the foglights housing. insurance replaced it for free when i got into my accident. i told my carrier that those broke cuz of the accident. then, i sold it to Andy.

Not me *tear*

Actually the projector headlights was gonna be one of my first upgrades to the rsx, once i get it back that is. However, i was wondering if it is really worth the extra $250 or so to get the HID bulbs with the headlights? If i do decide to get em i will probably ask a lot more questions about what kind, installs and stuff, but right now i am just trying to decide if it is worth it in the first place.

Personally I think it is... the light output from HIDs over halogens is exponentially better. You will see better at night. Plus, blue lights look so much cooler than yellow.
