k20z1 tranny question

hey guys...i know i have heard that there are grinding issues with the 02-04 type-s transmissions, but what about the 05-06 tranny? are there any major problems with those model years. just wondering because i am looking at buying an 05 type-s with 73k miles on it for $12,500. it came off of a lease btw...do you guys think that it would be a safe buy. i would be buying it from springfield acura in nj, dont know if any of you have experience with them. thanks

Also from Bucks County! I have an `06 and I sometimes get a slight resistance when going into 3rd - and usually it's because I don't have the clutch petal all the way to the floor (driver error).

Take it to your mechanic and pay him to look it over and give you his un-biased opinion.

Never heard of the dealer, so I can't comment on that one.

Where in Bucks County?

John
